空壓機的起停通常由氣壓自動開關(氣壓繼電器)直接帶動交流接觸器對電動機實現自動控制。而氣壓自動開關大多數采用機械式結構,利用彈簧壓縮與釋放能量操動觸點。也許是氣壓自動開關的先天缺乏或因調節(jié)不當、機震等不同原因的影響。

運行中突遇停送電:自動檔控制的空壓機,遇到突然間停送電情況(如市電,自備電電源轉換)由于空壓機缸內氣壓來不及釋放又重新啟動。電動機處于重載起動,很可能形成堵轉故障。過于頻繁起動:因外圍用氣量不規(guī)則,用氣量大時,迫使電動機作頻繁起動工作。起動時大電流產生的熱余量積累不易散發(fā),使電動機溫升過熱,很可能造成電動機燒毀。

重負荷停機:空壓機的停機,與其他設備不同,都是達到設定上限壓力時停機。交流接觸器在接受重負荷、大電流下分段動作。此時拉弧火花為嚴重,對交流接觸器損壞造成很大威脅,由于交流接觸器損壞,將引發(fā)電源性質故障。如不平衡(缺相)等運行狀態(tài)。
